Rehabilitation

A woman kneeling on a black rubber mat in a room training a large, brown, fluffy dog. The woman holds her hand up, possibly giving a command or signal. The dog is focused and attentive, standing on the mat. In the background, there are two teal-colored chairs, a covered piece of furniture, and some dog training equipment including a purple cushion and a stack of mats.

Rehabilitation after surgery, much like physical therapy in humans, is critical to getting patients comfortable and returning to their activities of daily life.  It also helps decrease postoperative complications and injuries.  We will use the diagnoses from your primary vet to make a unique, tailored exercise program for your pet.  Rehabilitation is also a great tool for senior dogs to maintain posture, strength, and flexibility.

Rehabilitation is therapeutic exercise to build strength, endurance, flexibility, and posture.  We will also prescribe at home exercise programs so you are empowered and educated in your pet’s recovery.

Our mission is to help pets age gracefully, so they can maintain their daily routine and improve their independence without discomfort
